Award Winning Children’s Show

Sockville the educational children’s series pilot episode who won the st. Louis filmmakers showcase. Created and produced by James Gregson, Sockville is now in distribution and available on streaming Networks. More Sockville and new episodes coming soon. Filmmakers Showcase

Several Productions have been featured in the filmmaker showcase over the years. Some of Gregson Productions trailers have been used and local news coverage and to open the St.Louis Filmmakers Showcase. P.S. We are no longer located in St. Louis (Home Town)… We call Denver home now and we are here to stay.

Propsville USA

While filming the pilot for the TV series cooking for singles in the Alton based Gregson Studios, the local newspaper covered the story. Being located in the historic district at the time, we found it entertaining to just walk out our doors to find props in neighboring shops. We used the term “Propsville USA” and it stuck, the newspaper ran with it.

Hollywood On The River

Gregson Studios teamed up with VFX Creative Studios and set up a 5000 square foot visual effects studio in soundstage in Alton Illinois to produce a series of Television teasers, test shoots and Pilots. It was always big news in the small town of Alton Illinois.

Ghosts Of The Riverbend

While operating and producing Pilots and Concepts in the small town of Alton Illinois just outside of St Louis, Gregson Studios also took the opportunity to begin producing the documentary. Alton is widely known as one of the most haunted cities in the United States.

Making A Business

Across the street from the 5,000 square-foot special effects facility in soundstage another 3000 square foot Studio was set up to offer video editing animation and graphic design services to businesses within the area.

The post facility was established in a historic building and rehabbed into a progressive creative workplace.

Local Movie Producer

After winning The International Fastival Awards the conversation started about taking the production Youngblood Super spy and turning it into Jake Steel a television series. Word spread quickly and the Post-Dispatch covered our story.

Best Of Show

Youngblood Super Spy did more than just win the award for the best short production. It also took the award for Best Of Show at the “Fastival Awards” held at NAB in Las Vegas. James and the star of Youngblood Super Spy, young Steven Chapa appeared on the cover of the Fast Video Machine Magazine.

Guitars Exposed

James teamed up with lifelong friend Jim Callahan to produce one of the earliest productions in the Gregson Lineup, a guitar instructional series that did more than just teach people how to play guitar. It also covered everything from parts of the guitar, Electronics, amps, cases, cables and even how speakers work.

The product was featured in Guitar Player magazine as one of the top instructional series that year.
